Terms of use
The website ibogajourney.net is operated by George Gache, a private individual. For any question you can reach us at [email protected]. If you use the site, what follows applies.
Information, not medical advice
The guides and the other pages on this site are informational and educational. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and they do not replace a conversation with your doctor. Iboga is not suitable for everyone, and the decision to take part in a retreat is yours and should be an informed one. That is why every applicant is met personally, in an interview, and goes through screening (including a cardiac check) before the retreat.
Applying is not a booking
You cannot book or pay for anything on this site. The application form puts you in touch with us; it commits you to nothing and does not hold a place. A place is confirmed only after the interview, if there is a good fit, and after the deposit is paid. We discuss the conditions of taking part with you personally, before any payment.
What is on the site
We do our best to keep the information correct and up to date. Still:
- Dates, prices and places left are updated over time. What counts for you is what is confirmed when you are accepted.
- Testimonials are personal experiences. They promise no particular result to anyone.
- Studies and sources cited belong to their authors; we give them as information, not as a promise.
What is ours
The texts, photos, guides and materials on the site are our work, or we use them with the right to do so. Please don't copy or republish them without our written consent.
What we answer for
We keep the site running but can't promise it will never go down. The site links to other sites (for example ibogaresearch.eu) and to social networks; we are not responsible for what others publish. Nothing on this page limits a responsibility that cannot be limited by law, and the rights the law gives you as a consumer stay as they are.
Law and disputes
Romanian law applies. If something goes wrong, the first step is to write to [email protected]. If that doesn't settle it, the courts of Romania are competent; if you are a consumer, so are the courts where you live. As a consumer you can turn to the National Authority for Consumer Protection (anpc.ro), including through Alternative Dispute Resolution (SAL) at anpc.ro/sal, a free procedure outside court.
Changes
We may change this page. The date at the top says when we last did. What we have already agreed with you in writing does not change because of this page.
